The modern man’s workwear – and why the suit is officially dead
Weddings and funerals are pretty much the only occasions for men to don a suit these days, and few and far between are the businesses that require their employees to don tailored trousers and a jacket to do their job.
The men’s suit has gone the way of the dinosaur, and it appears that there are many reasons for this. Companies are increasingly opting to relax their dress codes and fashions have changed dramatically, which has led to a rise in casualwear and the demise of the suit.
An economic decision
In some cases, the demise of the suit has been due to economic conditions. There is no denying that a suit is expensive and there is nothing that looks worse than a cheap suit.
